If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you know I love to hustle. I absolutely love to get shit done and cross the finish line of projects and goals.
It’s kind of a running joke in my household that when I cook dinner, I also cook at least 3 other meals because doing one thing is never enough for me. So yes, I WILL make that breakfast casserole after I toss the chocolate chip cookies into the oven, because it’s already hot from the pizza rolls that I just need to plate and serve.
At the same time, I’ve been a fan of the “anti-hustle” bandwagon for many, many years now. To me, the concept of hustle as a lifestyle implies dire pressure and a false sense of urgency I’d rather avoid as much as possible.
I bake 14 meals at once because it’s fun for me to juggle lots of balls, not because I fear some terrible outcome or failure if I don’t.
So if you, like me, are always looking for ways to hustle less—without sacrificing your productivity, because it brings you genuine pleasure—I think you’re going to like this episode of my podcast.
